Ian Jenkins, Entertainer for the Young at Heart

Hello!! I’ve been in the entertainment industry as a semi-pro musician/ singer/ songwriter/ actor for over 40 years and, in that time, have appeared on the same bill as such renowned acts as Russell Watson, Edwin Starr, the Real Thing, Jools Holland and his R'n'B Orchestra to name but a few. I’ve also been lucky enough to appear in panto (it’s behind me!) on TV (Coronation Street, Emmerdale, a couple of ads and TV series) and in movies (blink and you miss me.com!!). In recent years I’ve been playing keyboards and singing with 70's chart-toppers Brian and Michael's band, The Matchstalk Men. When I retired from my full-time job as a hospice fundraiser a few years ago, I decided to concentrate my efforts towards performing specifically for Residential, Care and Nursing Homes, Sheltered Accommodation facilities, Community Centres and Hospice Day Care Centres.
